Monigle Clients Celebrated in Elite 20-Hospital Honor Roll

NewYork-Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell and University of Colorado Hospital have made the prestigious 2016-2017 Best Hospitals Honor Roll. The Honor Roll is an elite list of the top performing and highest regarded hospitals in the country. The list takes into account national rankings, as well as procedure and condition ratings. Hospitals are awarded points depending on how well they perform in these areas.

NewYork-Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell – #6

Part of the NewYork-Presbyterian health care delivery system, the NewYork-Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell is a world-class academic medical center.

Ranked nationally in fifteen adult and ten pediatric specialties, NewYork-Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell scored high in patient safety, demonstrating a commitment to reducing accidents and medical mistakes. The hospital is a 2,328-bed general medical and surgical facility with 104,600 admissions in the most recent year reported. It performed 31,612 annual inpatient and 78,190 outpatient surgeries. Its emergency room had 275,592 visits. NewYork-Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell is a teaching hospital.

University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora – #20

The inclusion of the University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora—the flagship hospital of the UC Health system—marks the first time a Colorado-based hospital has made the Honor Roll.

The University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora is ranked nationally in ten adult specialties. The hospital is a 648-bed general medical and surgical facility, which welcomed 24,791 admissions in the most recent year reported. It performed 7,437 annual inpatient and 8,901 outpatient surgeries. It’s emergency room had 67,386 visits. The University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora is also a teaching hospital.
