Justin Wartell Joins Monigle

Meet Justin Wartell

Monigle is pleased to announce the addition of Justin Wartell to our thriving team. As Managing Director, Justin joins Monigle following seven years lending his talents to Interbrand Design Forum. In addition to serving as Managing Director of the Dayton, OH office, which holds Interbrand’s retail and shopper sciences center of excellence, Justin previously served as Executive Director, Strategy and Analytics.

Justin believes strongly that our role in the branding world is to better connect clients to the customers that they serve; this simple approach has led to great success stories that have grown and transformed some fantastic, valuable global brands. At Monigle, he plays a key role in evolving the relationship between research, strategy and design, generating creative, dynamic and productive brand experiences. He joins the senior leadership team where he is tasked with enhancing the firm’s positioning relative to industry, technique, process, and product while supporting the Brand and Branded Environments businesses with both current and potential clients.

Monigle welcomes Justin’s diverse industry understanding, leadership experience and operational savvy built from engagements in brand development, business strategy, research, digital, innovation and organizational transformation. With a commitment to quality work and client service, Justin led large-scale research, strategy, and organizational change initiatives at FedEx, built globally relevant brands like Sherwin Williams, guided portfolio management systems for Akzo Nobel, and defined new methods of shopper engagement for P&G. Justin’s experience is especially deep in hospitality and foodservice with brand and insights work for Au Bon Pain, Pollo Campero, Burger King and Holiday Inn. In addition to an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Justin has a MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Indiana University and a BA in History from Tulane University.

Justin is relocating with his family from Ohio, and they are thrilled about the destination. His wife, Sarah, along with their kids, Degan and Sophia, are excited about living in beautiful, sunny Colorado. Their interests in the outdoors, cooking and food will not be lost on Denver’s thriving city. We’re thrilled to welcome Justin to the Monigle team.
