2015 has started off exceptionally well with five new team members joining us. From Branded Environments to Digital and our Administrative team, we continue to add the best and the brightest in the industry―and several more outdoor enthusiasts to our Denver, Colorado office.

Cody Durham, Industrial Designer, Branded Environments

Branded Environments
We are pleased to welcome Cody Durham to Branded Environments. Cody is an industrial designer with an infectious enthusiasm and great motto, “Design. Build. Make. Create.” He is a graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver’s Industrial Design program and he brings to the team experience in fabrication, design, and modeling.

It’s great to have Cody on the Environmental Design team, he brings some serious creative and technical skills to the group and some not-so-serious diversions when we need a break. Definitely the guy you want to bump into at the coffee machine.” ― Kurt Monigle, Principal

Cody is a Golden/Boulder, Colorado native who counts fly fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and mountain biking as a few of his favorite activities. He is most excited by the teamwork, camaraderie, respect, and friendships at Monigle.

Ian Swoboda, Designer, Branded Environments

Branded Environments has also added designer Ian Swoboda. Ian comes to us with an extensive background in lighting design and engineering and is a graduate of the Metropolitan State College of Denver Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering programs at the University of Colorado Boulder. At Monigle he will be designing merchandising systems and other architectural elements to create three-dimensional customer experiences.

“We are happy to have Ian on the Branded Environments design team! His recent background in lighting design will add an interesting new perspective to our work that everyone is excited about.” ― Kurt Monigle, Principal

Ian is a Colorado native who loves the outdoors and mountain lifestyle. Outside of work, he mountain bikes and snowboards (you’ll find him at Winter Park or Keystone) as much as he can. Ian also has a passion for travel. His next stop? Moab, Utah for some of that aforementioned mountain biking.

David Mahn, Digital Media Network and Operations Manager
David Mahn, Digital Media Network and Operations Manager, Digital

Digital
David Mahn has joined our Digital team as Digital Media Network and Operations Manager. In this role, he manages the infrastructure of the LAMP stack servers (what our identityManager® brand asset management service is built on) to ensure we meet and exceed client needs. He has 30 years’ experience in UNIX, Linux, and network administration.

“I am so thrilled to welcome David to the team! David’s experience with enterprise-level server administration, networking, and infrastructure are already helping us to further secure and solidify our core digital operations, and over the next year will greatly increase our ability to deliver more quality products and services.” ― Cynthia Del’Aria, Senior Director, Digital Media

David has been a musician nearly all his life. He currently plays lead guitar in the band Union Gray, a Country/Country Rock band. He can be found playing regularly in and around Denver most weekends.

Brett Johnson, Digital Growth, Digital
Brett Johnson, Digital Growth, Digital

The Digital team has also welcomed Brett Johnson to lead digital growth. Brett’s path to Monigle has been a diverse one from the roots of snowboarding to traditional and Flash animation, emerging media, interactive strategy, and currently digital product development. His role at Monigle includes furthering our digital product offerings as well as managing digital marketing. Some of his notable achievements include building the first permanent snowboard park in North America (Breckenridge) and being the recipient of a few awards from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, HBO, and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.

It is almost impossible to find a client who disagrees with the notion that digital does not play an important role in a brand’s ecosystem. Brett’s arrival significantly adds to our ability to bridge each client’s brand promise with the unique digital experiential elements that matter most for employees and customers.” ― Gabriel Cohen, Chief Marketing Officer

One of the most interesting things about Brett is that he lived in China for five months where he developed software and invested in creating efficiencies within the animation development process. When not at Monigle you find Brett walking his two dogs―Coco, a laser-pen chasing Boxer/Lab, and Odie, a counter hopping Jack-Huahua (Jack Russell/Chihuahua)―hanging out with his daughter, and spending time in the mountains.

Lacey Veech, Receptionist, Administration
Lacey Veech, Receptionist, Administration

Administration
Lacey Veech has come on board as our new receptionist. She serves as the face―and voice―of our company. She is the smile that greets you when you walk in the door, the happy voice when you call our offices, and our hospitality specialist.

Lacey has transitioned to our team from the mortgage industry, and she is very excited to learn about the branding business. As she said, “It’s so different from my previous experience… I am very intrigued and cannot wait to explore all the different facets of branding.”

“We are excited to welcome Lacey as our new receptionist and office assistant. She has lots of reception and customer service experience, and an unbeatable service attitude. I look forward to her personal approach to hospitality toward visitors and employees alike.” ― Elaine M. Martinez, Director of Finance and Administration

Lacey is Denver native who loves the outdoors (no surprise!). She loves to camp, ride ATVs, bike, hike, and run! Whew!
