Hiding in Plain Sight Some high-profile buildings, such as the Colorado State Capitol or Denver Art Museum complex, regularly spur attention and comment - good or bad. But other worthy pieces of Denver architecture, often smaller, lower-budget buildings, are overlooked amid the banality of structures around them. The Denver Post asked 10 area architects to each choose an underappreciated building and explain why it deserves to be better-known. Their eclectic picks inevitably reflect their design aesthetics and approaches. So next time you're out and about, take a moment to look around. Good architecture could be right down the street.
